“The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side.”

In my younger days, at the end of every school year, we’d have an assembly to acknowledge students who excelled in their classes, and although the awards were not foremost on my mind during the year, by May it was nice to be recognized for all my hard work.

The efforts I made, especially when they concerned things I loved to do, were done without thought of recognition, but with a drive and passion to put my mark on this world. I always tried to do my best, no matter the task, and continue to do so.

If we’re fortunate, other people take notice and wish to acknowledge our endeavors.
